Rasoi Comments Featured In South Wales Evening Post

Our very own Jas Kullar was recently asked by the South Wales Evening Post for his thoughts on the upward trend in the amount of people ordering takeaways.

Jas' comments feature in the article 'More and more relying on a quick food fix' in the Tuesday 9th April edition of the South Wales Evening Post. The article discusses the growing number of people choosing takeaway meals as an easy option after the findings of a recent survey revealed that the average Brit spends around £110 on takeaways every month.

As Rasoi is a restaurant that also provides a takeaway service, Jas shared our experience of this national trend:

"Eating out or ordering a takeaway is a treat we have firmly incorporated into our weekly routines. We find weekends to be the busiest for takeaways and we've noticed a real boom in takeway trade during sporting events, particularly the recent Six Nations tournament.

"Our top-selling dishes are Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Bhuna and Machi Chatpati, one of our speciality dishes of pan-fried sea bass, Bombay potato, curries pistachio sauce and vine tomato confit, which goes to show that a takeaway doesn't mean a downgraded version of what you'll receive in a restaurant."
